One thing for certain about Malibu, this is not your standard cookie-cutter residential community. Malibu is a small cobblestone of intriguing residential structures, that are as creative and inspiring as the individuals that build them.

Originally developed (begrudgingly) from the estate of Frederick Hastings Rindge and widow Rhoda May Rindge, they fought many different legal battles to prevent access to their property.  Over time, however, May Rindge was forced to sell off and develop different parts of the original 13,000 acre land grant.

Today, Malibu is home to some of the best shopping, surfing, dining and living in Los Angeles.

This 21 mile strip of city (originally 27 miles, prior to it’s ‘citification’ in 1991) is a beachfront community famous for its warm, sandy beaches, and for being the home of countless movie stars and others associated with the Southern California entertainment industries.
